I teach at the Department of Semiotics, University of Tartu. Over the course of my career I have contributed to 30 courses at the University of Tartu, spanning the humanities, social sciences, and political studies. I have taught students at all levels (BA, MA, and PhD) and have supervised 1 doctoral dissertation, 2 postdoctoral researchers, 12 MA theses, and 18 BA theses.
My courses focus on the intersections of semiotics, digital culture, and media analysis.
I have given invited guest lectures at universities in Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. I have also held a visiting research fellowship at Stanford University.
